If your pet does get worried about appointments or vaccinations, our lovely nursing team offers regular sessions to develop confidence and trust, so that when your pet feels ready, we can take the next step towards the right care.

Helping your pet feel at ease with us

We understand that many pets feel nervous when visiting their vets, especially if they have come in for a vaccination or procedure. 

That’s why we offer personal options to help make things a little less scary, such as:

  • Pre-admission questionnaires to help us get to know your pet.
  • Confidence clinics with our friendly nursing team.
  • Flexible admission times for surgeries to allow more time at home beforehand.
  • Sedation with you in the room.
  • Flexible discharge times.
  • Pre-visit medications to help reduce anxiety, if required. 

We’ll work with your pet to build bonds and grow their confidence and trust in us. Then when they’re ready, we can take the next step.

We’re always happy to provide laparoscopic spays on a referral basis. Complete our online referral form to refer a case.

You can order your pet’s prescriptions directly from us. We also offer written prescriptions.

We offer orthopaedic, soft tissue, emergency, investigative and ophthalmology surgeries, alongside personal surgical plans.

Diagnostics

We offer in-house ultrasound, endoscopy and digital x-ray, allowing us to examine your pet in a quick, minimally invasive way.

Second opinions

Second opinions

To request a second opinion for your pet, please give us a call. We can obtain all of your pet’s details from your usual vet.

Laboratory

We have advanced diagnostic imaging and laboratory facilities, allowing us to deliver prompt diagnoses and accurate results, often within 30 minutes.

Pain control and anaesthesia

Pain control and anaesthesia

It can be hard to tell when your pet is in pain. We can assess your pet’s pain levels and provide tailored anaesthetic, monitoring and pain control.

Home visits

Home visits

Where appropriate, home visits are available on selected dates each month. Pre-booked visits cost £40 within our five-mile radius. Otherwise, usual fees apply.
