  • New Clients

  • In order to be assured regarding a practice’s standards, facilities and management, when choosing a veterinary practice, new clients should look for the RCVS Practice standards scheme logo.

Using an RCVS accredited practice such as ours, means the best possible care for your pet and peace of mind for you.

Pet owners who would like to register with us can do so face to face or over the telephone. We will enter both your details and your pets’ details on our computer system. If your pet is already registered at another practice, we will need your permission to contact the other practice and request any clinical notes. All previous notes are then scanned into our computer system so we can refer to them as required.

As with any arrangement, it has to be based on trust. It is in a pet's best interest that we work closely with owners as this allows us to provide a high level of service. It is equally as important that owners feel comfortable when using our services. We are therefore more than happy to offer new and existing clients a guided tour of the practice. Owners can then see for themselves our facilities and where their pet would stay if they ever needed to be hospitalised. During the tour, there is also the opportunity to meet some of the staff and to ask questions about the practice.

When clients entrust us with the care of their pet, we consider it a privilege. We are a small team at Elands and everyone in the team cares passionately for both our patients and our clients. All the staff either have pets or have had pets and so we understand that your pet is part of your family. We aim to look after every pet as if they were our own – this means that if you cannot find a member of staff, they are probably out the back cuddling the patients!
