We provide a 24 hour emergency service 365 days a year – call 01732 452333
Duty vets carry mobile phones at all times so that clients should always be able to speak directly to a veterinary surgeon when necessary. If the duty vet is attending to another emergency and cannot answer the phone immediately, a pager system is used. You will be required to leave your name and number and the vet will promptly return your call.
The emergency service should confirm with you which practice you usually attend in order that they can send your pet’s clinical notes to us the following day.
How to seek emergency veterinary care
All emergencies outside our normal opening hours are attended to by the Sevenoaks Veterinary Emergency Service. This service is based locally at the Pennard Veterinary Group's surgery in Eardley Road, Sevenoaks. This means that in an emergency, our clients never have far to travel. The emergency service is staffed by vets and nurses experienced in emergency medicine and surgery. Please note that an emergency consultation will attract an out of hour surcharge and you may like to request an estimate of fees from the duty vet.
In an emergency outside normal opening hours, clients telephoning the clinic on the usual number and listening to the recorded message will be given the telephone number of the veterinary surgeon on duty.
