Dunton Green Surgery:

Monday to Friday: 9am - midday & 2pm - 6.30pm
Saturday: 9am - 1pm

Kemsing Branch:

Mon, Tues, Wed & Fri: 9am - 11am & 3pm - 6.30pm
Thurs & Sat: Closed - all clients seen at our Dunton Green surgery

During each consultation (including at vaccination / booster time), your pet will be examined and given a full health check by the veterinary surgeon.

Consultations provide owners with an opportunity to talk about any concerns, ask questions and discuss treatment plans. It is all about good communication and working together to help keep your pet healthy and ensure your pet receives the best possible care. Often difficult decisions need to be made about treatment options including costs involved, benefits and/or any risks. Part of our role is to discuss available options, help our clients with decisions and offer our support during any difficult times.

If your pet is involved in an accident or takes a turn for the worst, please call us immediately in order that we can arrange for a vet to attend to your pet on arrival at the surgery. Any emergencies or any pets in pain or distress will not have to wait until consultation times and will be seen as quickly as possible and attended to as a matter of priority.

There are occasions when a member of the clinical team can offer advice over the telephone. However, we cannot confirm a diagnosis over the phone and we cannot give out treatment without having first seen the patient. If you are at all worried about your pet then you will be advised to book an appointment and come in for a consultation to see the vet.

Appointments are always allocated to a specific vet when booked. Although all our vets are experienced and all case notes are written up on the computer, most of our clients like to see the same vet who then can get to know them and their pet and can oversee any treatment. Seeing the same vet is particularly beneficial for ongoing and more complicated cases. If you would like to see a specific vet please let the receptionist know when booking your appointment and we can arrange this for you.
