Clinic Relocation to St John's Church, 2010

In the spring of 2010 Elands Veterinary Clinic will be relocating to new premises at St Johns Church, London Road, Dunton Green..

Our current building has served us well over the past 23 years but procedures and equipment have changed rapidly over that time. Endoscopy and keyhole surgery did not exist in those days - and the move will enable us to update our facilities in line with modern practice to provide the best possible care for our clients and patients. Plans to build a new roundabout at the corner of Station Road have prompted us to search for a new site where we can build a new "state of the art" facility for the benefit of all our clients and patients.

St Johns ChurchSt John's church is only a few hundred yards away from our current clinic, and is situated at the north end of Dunton Green, just over the M26 motorway bridge. The church has been used as a furniture restoration warehouse for the past 15 years or so, and we are proud to bring it back into community use. This beautiful old building will be converted into a three storey modern veterinary clinic, retaining many of the old features and original character of this unique building.

The new clinic will have an additional consulting room for nurse consultations/treatments, and an additional operating theatre for minimally invasive surgery - techniques in which Elands Veterinary Clinic are proud to be world leaders.

There will also be seperate kennels and cattery wards for post operative care, an isolation kennels for infectious cases, x-ray and ultrasound scanning facilities, as well as a fully equipped laboratory and pharmacy.

In addition to all this we are planning a training facility so that we can train veterinary surgeons form other practices all over the UK in minimally invasive surgical techniques.Ground Floor Plan

We will continue to have nurses living on site to provide round the clock care for in-patients whenever necessary.

If you have any suggestions for facilities or services that you would like to see offered in the new clinic,or any ideas for structural changes or features, please feel free to email Philip at the link below. Now is the time to give your views and opinions - hopefully we willl be able to incorporate any good ideas in the final building.

We look forward to offering our customary first class service from a comfortable and spaceous new surgery to all our loyal clients in the Sevenoaks area as well as to referral cases from other practices all over the country.

We ask for your indulgence over the transition period, which we will try to make as smooth as possible, and look forward to welcoming you to our new clinic in the spring.
