More recently he has pioneered laser surgery in veterinary medicine in the UK. He also has an interest in ultrasonography and uses this medium extensively as a complimentary technique prior to endoscopy. Philip lectures extensively all over the UK teaching the principles and practice of endoscopy to other veterinary surgeons and is currently special lecturer in veterinary Endoscopy at the University of Nottingham School of Veterinary Medicine and Science.
