Emma Barty VN qualified as a veterinary
nurse in 2005 and has already made her mark at Elands. She has impressed
everyone with her calm approach and gentle humour and has brought her
enthusiasm and practical know-how to our nurse clinics, to the benefit of
clients and patients alike.
Gemma Wade trained as as an Animal
Nursing Assistant at Elands and having passed all her exams with flying colours
and getting her certificate, she went on to study for three long years and
qualify as a fully fledged Veterinary Nurse. Prior to this she has worked as a
kennel hand at a local dog boarding kennels. Gemma really enjoys working at the
clinic, especially as every day is different and she gets to meet such a
variety of new animals. Gemma is also the proud owner of her own beautiful
cats, Tilly and Snowy!
Emma Duhig originally came to us for
a work placement as part of her Veterinary nursing course and liked it so much
she stayed! Emma has now passed all her exams and joins the team as a fully
qualified Veterinary Nurse.
