Once Registered, you can access the service straight away, with no additional equipment, by dialling 132 before the number you wish to connect to. It usually takes three to four weeks for BT to set up the Carrier Pre-Select system that diverts calls through our service automatically at the switchboard. Once this has been done there is no need to use any prefixes at all - you just continue using the phone as always - and save money! There is a no set up fee and no contract to tie you in.

The table below shows the exciting new local and national call tariffs that BT launched on June 1st 2003;

To counter this excellent offer from BT, we are offering customers a choice of 3 brand new options, simply named Option 1, 2 and 3 to mirror BT's Together Option Plans.

However, as well as keeping our minimum call charge lower than BT's (4.7p vs 5p) we're also giving an enormous 20% discount on BT's call charges for all local, national, international and mobile calls.

You just can't go wrong.

Better still, any calls to any other customer (business or residential) on our service will benefit from a total 30% discount on BT's call charges.

Of course , our "Free" service will still be available for low users, offering free local and national off peak calls, and discounts over BT charges for no additional fee at all.

The only things to remember are that non-geographic and premium rated numbers are excluded from this offer and the service charge is not discounted.

Our "Free" Service

If you make a limited number of off-peak phone calls each month, this is the package for you.

We'll give you 60 minutes of national calls AND another 60 minutes of local calls, EVERY month, absolutely FREE… and we won't even charge you a monthly fee!

You'll save an average of 64% when calling any of Oftel's top ten international destinations (including the USA, France and Australia) compared with BT's Standard package, and you can even enjoy an additional 12.5% discount whenever you call another customer on our services.

If you choose our "Free" service, we guarantee that if you can find any call cheaper on the BT standard residential package, we will give you back the difference… and double it!*

Options Plans

Option 1

If you don't make many phone calls but like to know that you can talk freely without worrying about how much it's costing you, then this service is for you. Pay a maximum of 4.8p for up to an hour on all evening and weekend local and national calls. Daytime calls will be charged at 2.4p a minute**.

**Minimum call charge of 4.7p (inc. VAT) applies

Option 2

The perfect talkplan if you make short calls in the evenings and at weekends. Get the first hour for free on all local and national calls made in the evening or weekends. The charges for daytime calls will be the same as for Option 1.

Option 3

Our premier service. You'll love this service if you want the flexibility to make local or national calls when you want, to whomever you want, for as long as you want (each call is FREE for the first 60 minutes). Be comfortable in the knowledge that you're in full control of your monthly bill amount.
